One Horn of Pleanty

Good Morning,

I had a busy morning trying to fix a mistake that I made, (guess I should explain a bit, I was tired and thought I could just throw something together and it would be ok, well I messed up, got disguest threw the grapes in the box and said the h*ll with it..then I remembered this tutorial how to make a picnic basket and it hit me!?!?!? I could turn it into a horn basket,  I grabbed some string , card stock. and got to work)

here we go:

I looked at pictures on the internet and some horns were straight up , some were to the side so I made mine going toward the side,  the others had different fruits  my friend wanted grapes so thats what she got, grapes 

I'm done, no more grapes for a while this was a learning experience , I hope she likes it cause I wont be making anymore grapes for a very long time!!

Concord Grapes with Cheese and Crackers

Good Evening

I just made Concord Grapes with Cheese and Crackers, if you wanna know the truth this was freaking awesome to make

 but there is purple artist chalk dust everywhere Im going to have to dust and sweep up the my space (my friend who request this gave me her  chalk to use because she wanted the grapes to be really purple, my chalk is mostly pastel so it would have been lighter...I liked the test piece but she wanted darker).  Here ya go:

now she used cane for her grapes and I used regular sculpty and  chalk but you can go a different way if you want too it's all art

Evening Everyone.


I made Grapes, My coworker who wasn't into my mini food is really into grapes and wine ( oh the Irony, I could do an entire monolog but I'll just let this one go) I think they are way too big but remember this isn't for a dollhouse it's for a fridge magnet or desk sitter or pin or what ever she wants to use it for. so this would be considered playscale...enjoy:

I have some left over grapes so I think I'll make another platter and then put some cheese on it (I like cheese can't you tell...I'll make a nice American or Brie this time to challenge myself)

Soup and the Day with Cheese and Crackers

Hello Everyone,

I was stressed out from work so I came home and made soup, cheese and crackers (I didn't want to make square crackers because I like Ritz so I did mine with Ritz Crackers and I even made a little knife cause I like making knifes..yea I know thats a bit strange)

the last one is a bit blurry


my crackers look a little like tomato's but they're crackers they look more orange and Ritzy in person (yea I know all mini food artist say that) my split pea soup looks a bit past its prime too so chow down at your own risk , it's 9:00 here and I'm beat ...off to dream land for this little one... Pleasant Dreams my friends and have a wonderful tomorrow

Happy Easter!

Hello Everyone

I really wasn't in the mood to make anything for Easterish?(or in the Easter Theme if you want to call it that), I don't think I shared with you that my Mother in Law had a Heart Attack so Ive been busy running back and forth to the Hospital, I've also had problem with my brakes again this makes the 7th time I've had problems with them so I'm waiting for the 3rd thing to happen (cause we all know that bad things happen in three's)

To cheer myself up I made a knife to go with my bread and cheese (its in the middle) then I made some chips cause I had the bowl  already on the platter and I made cookies again I was tempted to make them Peanut Butter cookies but I didn't care for the way they turned out ( I like cookies don't you?) so here they are:

For some reason I can't upload more photos of it but I think this is pretty clear and I do feel a lot better since I made them , being creative really helps lower stress  :)

A Simple Meal

Hello Blogger Friends

Work in Progress Weds came and went so I'm posting this today,  Tis a simple meal for the wee folks of Pumkin Soup, Sour dough bread and Cheese.  :)

 Well I did make a mistake on the bread the gloss collected at the very end and turned the paint wonky!  my cheese that was yellow turned into a weird color .  My bowl is really cool  thats my first one too  :)

Fridays Flop of the Week!

Good Morning Blogfriends,

Last night I made cupcakes but I made my own version of them and I totally flopped which is a good thing because if I had succeeded I wouldn't have learned anything so without further adou (sp) My failure:

I'm not sure if these can be saved since I did put the color on them but boy are they flat, I think I'll just put them in the box and use them as filler when I make my bakery roombox *notice I said when :)  the idea is very appealing to me*

so thats all from this end, have a wonderful weekend *I'll be in the studio trying to fix this mess and working on other stuff*

So on to the good stuff, I was just getting home from stopping off at the Tax place and guess what I found in my mailbox from Victoria  ?

yes that's right, MINI"S!!! 

Tons and Tons of Mini's (which I'll open and share as I work on my food stuffs) 

My eyes still tear up when I look at it, I really appreciate it! thank you so much Victoria you are really a good friend.  She sent it because of our Friend Judy 's blog where she asked her fellow bloggers to play it foreward, 

So that's what happened, it rolled my dark clouds away, Now the sun is shining in my little world.

ok I took the potato chip platter in after I attached a magnet to it and I left it on my friends desk at work

she loved it, she put it up on her cabinet and she said it was the cutest little thing she ever saw 

I'm stoked, someone likes my work (well besides you guys and I love you guys for loving it too)  this just makes me want to work harder and make them better

I'm happy :)

Blue Monday!

Good Morning,

I just wanted you to see the new things I've made this weekend, it's nothing special but I've been busy making new platters (see above)  that's just the first coat of paint I will have to paint them again.

and I made more chip platter (like Doctor Frankenstein these are a mistake but I did learn from them) the chips look like chips but my blue nachos....a disaster!

oh well moving on
