Bring it Joann!

ya... I know.... I watch too much TV.. but thats how I felt when I finished that Halloween Vignette, I turned up the radio and head banged to a little Def Leppard (not really but I wanted too ,the cat hates classic rock so I had to turn it down) so I was like "Bring it"  and guess what...she did http://joannswansondiyminiatures.blogspot.co.uk/

I looked at all my stuff and I sort of figure out how to complete this my way and enter the it in the Holiday Contest that is going on over at DA..two birds one stone (Im brilliant if I do say so myself..and I do say so)  but I'm not one to let grass grow beneath my feet so this is what I've been up too..

The Roombox... as you can see I put the shelves in the roombox and the tables are going to be added there too..it needs a lot of work if it's going to turn into a bakery (yes I know I was going to turn it into something else but I made the shelves so it's a bakery..simmer down)

I did make some playscale food but  in Joann's  DIY you make a raw bird..(I got it covered...and the rest will be a snap too cause that's what I do I make food!? )

this hot mess is supposed to be my wash tub and I was going to make a wash board, but..the water turned brown!?!?!?!

I'm going to change the handles on it and finish the washboard..but I don't know what to do about that brown water mess.hopefully the faux clothes will cover it! I need to go to the store for some gesso

so that's about it

I'll post more photos when I finish up the washboard

Love
Marisa :)

  1. Joann is my all time favorite miniaturist. I have a major crush on her!! If you want to see more of her projects I can tell you where to find them. I emailed her a while back asking permission to share one of her projects and when she emailed me back I practically peed my pants I was so excited. I still have that email. I think I will frame it.

  2. too bad you can't save that washtub and use it in a scene where brown water is exactly what you want! I think it looks kind of cool. You have been a busy gal- can't wait to see more of your bakery :)

  5. Wow! I also am one of Joanne's admirers. I love the new Thanksgiving tutorial. Alas, we don't celebrate it here.
