Sorry, No WIP Wed.. I hurt myself *strained my back and neck so I’ve been taking it easy for a while.I was reading blogs like I usually do and I came across one that berated his niece for having what he called Cholo eyebrows?!?!?! , now normally I would have just chuckled and moved on but for some reason that bothered me. Why in the world would you do that to a tween/teen and why in the world would you do that to your own niece?
Ok, I get it..you don’t think it’s appropriate but that’s not your place you are not the childs parent and you have no right to make fun of her and use offensive terms, So she over plucked her eyebrows! what woman hasn’t done that and then colored them in or not..it’s our body to do with at we please and I’m sorry but YOU don’t get say anything about it (yes I grew up reading the Womens Room and wanting to burn my bra *but my mom wasn’t having it and I was too young to do that*)
If I were that childs mother I would be pissed at my brother!! but then again knowing that my brother is an opinionated asshole, I’d probably tell my child to ignore her gay uncle because he’s got a stick up his ass…Now if he did the same thing to Lady Gaga (who shaved her’s off and wears meat as clothing) then I’d tell my child that her uncle has way too much time on his hands! and Lady Gaga would ignore him.. how dare you! I’m pissed off buddy and I’m focused on you..you really don’t want that cause I’m like a dog with a bone I’ll bite your ass (this is me biting you!)
But back to the point, that’s not right and I hope the child isn’t scarred by what her uncle did to her if he is that offended he should probably watch Gossip girl or Superman or any UPN program all those women have over plucked eye brows.*complain to the networks and see how far that gets you* Go to the movies they plucked their eyebrows too and we can do that if we want too!!.
What’s really annoying is that he’s gay..that alone should make him more tolerant or accepting but it does not it seems that stick just seems to travel further up his ass than a normal straight males (yes I know straight men do talk about it too but they say one thing and then drop it or not depending on if the guy is the kids Dad or some drunk in a bar or a sleezeball trying to pick up at the grocery store... but I’m going off track)
The obvious suggestion is then stop following his blog if you are so offended, that’s a cop out ..Why do that? Then they win and they can do it someone else who may or may not be able to defend herself against this or any other male pig (yes that is what he is..a pig and there are many more out there) who takes it upon himself to tell women what they should and shouldn’t look like. How dare you! my own brother in law sat at the dining room table and said once a woman hits 50 she should cut off all her hair *you can imagine the fight that happened after that* sometimes I wonder if it’s just PMS or if it’s because I’ve always been a rebel.
Who knows, who cares? Just knock it off and you won’t hear me Roar at you!
