Wacky Weds

Hi Guys,

did you ever have that at school?  Wacky Weds where you wore crazy outfits for a school benefit?  usually to raise money for the team to go somewhere like off to Mars ..moving on...I made it..presenting Lamb Kabobs:

I looked at my reference material and then I went for it, it looks like a leg of lamb doesn't it (at least I hope it does..then there are the skewers with lamb on them and I made the meat cleaver.  the pan, dish, wine bottle and blue jar are gifts from Victoria :)

so this is my second entry and I have one day to spare (that's cutting it close isn't it)

No Silence of the Lamb Kabobs

I know I was supposed to start that prep table but I wanted to make up a little something for the guard who overpaid me so I made this:

so I made this steak and potato with salad and bread on the side as a Thank you for buying from me and over paying me..guess I shouldn't care but I do and now we're even steven...(plus I wanted to show you what they look like on the fridge..heheheh..I know I'm a bit devious) I'm still going to do that Kabob's or was it Egg plant?  prep board..I've got two days left.

Saturday Night is shining on my Sunday Morning Face

Hellooo,

I started working on this Saturday and I didn't finish it because I was just too tired, We had snow or it has been snowing for the past three days and it's really bumming me out. (did you know that cats get grumpy if they have to stay in the house all day..well they were and so was I *Richard ran away to his Mancave..smart man*)

 I wanted to work on another Prepboard but I can't figure out what to make I thought maybe Egg Plant (cause you and I both know that everyone is going to do cakes, cookies, pies ect and I need to stand out * I've probably watched Auntie Mame one too many times...I lived!!..moving on)

so I made these for the SecuityGuards wife he is always bugging me to make things for him so I did take a peek

so I made these for him while I figure out what I want to do about that Prepboard I only have a few days left and I have to start on it today, oh and I have to tell you that truth about the pancakes I couldn't figure out what to put on that board so I thought I'd make some fruit (and get rid of some of those aweful berrys that didn't turn out like I wanted them too. well the Banana's didn't turn out like I planed either so I did cover them with paint on the top who is going to see the bottom?) I think it works I'm not proud of it but it works don't ya think?

ok so now I'm going to move on to the prep board, ...7 days...might was well be a year

PS Welcome to my new followers and guess what..we'll be having a contest since I reached 100 so watch out for that and yes it will be mini food (to go with my mini stove that I want to make thanks to Casey and Tessie ..  she has a tutorial about how to make one and  I should probably look into getting my own Tessie or  get another cup of coffee..coffee is easier..  its going to be a long day....   .bye )

Sleep in Saturday

Good Morning Sleepy Heads,

I finished my prep table!!  Yeaaaaa  *applause and mad shouting from the rooftops to follow*  I didn't know what to make then it hit me..Plantains...yep those magical fruit/veggie things from South East Asia and South America/Puerto Rico..ect al.  (alright I'll come clean I was watching a Movie and they had it in the resturant scene..go figure)

so here ya go my first Mini Prep table *yeaaaa*

so this is my first prep and I think it turned out well don't you?  it's all in mini and it's all in scale  :)  Im so proud if my little baby here.

the plate  with the green plantains, the china plate with the cooked plantains, the frying pan, spoon and condiments are all  gifts from Victoria as well as the table top..the legs were broken when it arrived but for a display it works and I'll fix it later

the knife and cutting board I made as well as the food (who else is gonna do that?)  also the newspaper is from Jims Printables  it was a big help since it was already in scale..for some reason I could never get my scale just right and now it's like I woke up and can figure it out..weird huh..oh well

wish me luck I'm going to enter it in the Semi Sweeties contest

Happy New Year Everyone

Lets start the New Year out right, I finished those pies that I had to make, I gave her so many other things that she really didn't care about them but I felt like I left the job unfinished so I finished them (I don't really like pie Im more of a cake person)  it took about a week to finish them because they weren't coming out right so I thought about it and made them look like home made pies not store bought (which is code for I fixed my mistakes with liquid sculpty and acrylic paint)  I also made two more items for her as penance so without further adieu: 

I learned that I need more of a base with pies and since this is playscale ...they dont make bottle caps that big..well they do for jugs but you can't put plastic in the oven.  the liquid sculpty really gives it some definition and I thnk the ham turned out ok too but my favorite is the salad, I haven't made one of those before and I really liked it (I didn't waste time on making a cane for the tomatos I just turned them upside down..if you want to make a cane that big for your salad youre a better woman than I am I tell ya)

oh and the box is from a candle display that I got at the christmas swap we had this year (well it's everyyear now cause the family has gotten too big and we're too cheap to buy presents for everyone...anyone hear little peep chirping cheap cheap cheap) 

so that's it, I'm done and I only have one half box of the original sculpty left I think I'll do that challenge that DA has going on Semi Sweeties, you have to make a prep board....three weeks left?  how hard could it be?
