Happy Thursday

Hello Guys,

Ive been busy this past week, I made Baskets for the Trade Days fair that we had and I need some input so before we go on here are the baskets:

And this is what I'm working on as a surprise for Dad, He was on one of these in the Philippines during WWII, He made this (it's called an LCM Carrier)  I wanted to put it on a display so  my idea was to have it on the Ocean being loaded up with supplies (Dad tells stories about when he did this during the war)

These are the little soldiers (see below) that I have to paint *that's going to be a job in a half right there.*

(below) this is possibly what I was thinking it will look like but only mine will have trees and a better beach scene *because of the tree tutorial I will make all the palm trees..hehehe* (all the diorama's that I've researched have had this scene or something similar)

So the question is do I go with something like the Scene from above or do I go with my original Ocean scene (that's taking forever)  which do you think is better or which one do you think you'd like)

a. Beach
b. Ocean

that's it for now I'm going to put this on the back burner until I get some input from YOU!

Love Marisa :)

*Yes I know it's a lot of pressure to put on you but you new my blog was dangerous when you clicked it :) *

  1. The original ocean-plan. It sounds better, because of your dad's stories.. And it would be different, if they usually are about the beach..

  2. Your baskets look fantastic. I also say your ocean plan :) Good luck with it.
    Hugs Maria

  3. Beautiful baskets!

    I like the ocean :)

  4. looks like it's going to be ocean and that's ok with me Ive got a secret weapon called cardboard :)

  5. Seguro que decidas lo que decidas te quedara genial.
    besitos ascension

  6. not working from home at moment - not used to this laptop but just popped in to say the Ocean idea sounds fab! Palm trees, rocks and tiny shells...? much admire your ambitious project! Just yell if you want more encouragement. Hugs....Annette
