The Anglophile and the Imposters

Good Morning Everyone
I have been under the weather this past week, I had a sinus infection and I got pink eye which is disgusting in itself I wouldn't have told you but I have to explain what happened and then we'll get to the imposters but as you can see below I was trying to finish up my 1920's washer, you can google some results if you wish this is my first day back so bear with me. as you can see below I was coming along rather well, I'd put the drops in my eye so I couldnt see too well and then took a sinus pill which made me dizzy so I layed down on the couch until the world stopped spinning..between those times I worked on this:

as you can see

it was coming along well

and then she showed up and knocked it to the floor, she looks like a british shorthair but she isn't she's a faux tabby (imposter pet! we've been had) when I was laying down dizzy she'd take that opportunity to jump on me so I couldn't get up to see what she'd done, she knocked over everything and chewed on some things...I'll just put it aside for now.I'll work on it when I feel better (and when she's out of the house)
this is a photo of the other imposter, this is no beagle this is a Coonhound that really shouldn't be on my sofa and she knows that but since I'm dizzy and blind they're taken over

I'll have something to share next week, once this blah feeling has passed I was rather proud of myself for muddling though (I've watched one too many episodes of Downton Abby I finished Season 3 and DoctorWho is coming *yeaaa* yes I am the Anglophile I'd drive a mini but Rich wont let me get one) so it's back to emails and a welcome home to AC *you know where this is going don't you*

Love
Marisa :)

Those naughty pets, but I guess they now know that it wasn't good what they have done with your project?? Such a pity it was ruined by them.....

    1. I blame the rain but it could be from pet dander so I shall have to remedy that with a good vaccuming you'd think that would send them running but they just stare at me and wait until Im done it's like they're jealous of each other?

  6. Hello Marisa! I am so sorry that you are so under the weather! A sinus attack and Pink eye= A Double Whammy! You have to be feeling especially rotten. I am dismayed that your furry impostor, turned your project upside down; but I think it was really noble of you to try to keep at it even when you were half blind; that is called Suffering for your Art. Get Well Soon, Marisa.

By the way, this clip is something new for me. Never heard of 'Capitol Cities' before. The tune is catchy and yes, it is good to have AM back, 'Safe and Sound'

Big big big hug and I hope you feel better soon! Please tell me you have good meds! The pets... ahhh there so cute.
I just generated my Fairy name:

    My fairy name is
    Thorn Heartsnap
He casts love spells. He lives in brambles and blackberry bushes. He can only be seen in the mist of an early morning. He wears purple and green like berries and leaves and has colourful cerise wings like a bright butterfly.

I sound like Liberace with cerise colored wings!

  15. Ewww, pink eye! I had that when I was twelve and it was nasty! I think the only treatment for it back in those days was cauterizing with a red-hot poker, ala Ma Ingles in 'Little House on the Prairie,' so I should be so lucky to still have two working peepers. Your pets are adorable little monsters, just like mine. Hope you get better, soon!

    XOXO,
